Erik Clementino
Originally from Paraíba, he is a photographer, producer, and director of photography active since 2018. A filmmaker, he dedicated himself to cinematography after studying computer networks. He gained experience working with professionals such as photographer Antônio Luiz Mendes.
His work includes more than 30 films, both feature-length and short films. He distinguished himself as a cinematographer in his first work on the film Remoinho (directed by Tiago A. Neves), which won awards for best cinematography at several festivals. His films, including Cervejas no Escuro, Maçãs no Escuro and Remoinho, have been screened at major festivals such as the Gramado Film Festival and the Tiradentes Film Festival, among others.
He is an academic and Audiovisual Director at APLA (Academia Princesense de Letras e Artes) and works as a Director of Photography at ICIMM (Instituto Cinema no Meio do Mundo), where he conducts workshops and makes films in various states of Northeast Brazil. He is also part of the Web Cinema Project team at FestCimm – Film Festival in the Middle of the World, as director of transmission and programming.
